Since the ready-made strap initial launch in 2018, NOSTIME has been committed to meeting the style demands of our valued customers with timeless accessories. Today, we are excited to unveil our Summer 2023 collection, featuring five new additions to our ready-made strap lineup.

 

KHAKI SHADE

This is a color variation of our very popular OG-107 strap, which was the first canvas strap we released. “Khaki Shade” is inspired by the U.S. Army uniforms of the 1960s, which were the spiritual successors of the Commonwealth uniforms of the past. -Photo credit : Elvis in G.I.Blues (1960)

The official designation of the color is “Khaki Army Shade 1”, and the color was intended to be an all-purpose color that remains formal and professional whatever the environment. The same applies here: the Khaki Shade is an all-purpose color that is relevant no matter the time and occasion. Khaki will remain versatile whatever the watch: modern, vintage, sports, dress – for whatever occasion: formal or casual.

 

TROPICAL TAN

“Tropical Tan” is the official designation of the garment color used for the U.S. Air Force Bush jacket, developed in the 1950s during the Korean War. The Bush jacket’s design has its origins in the Royal Air Force of the Commonwealth and hunting coat customarily worn in the African bush.

 It was made to protect the wearer from the hot, humid weather of the Korean summer, while also being easy to dry quickly. This is however a color that is strictly different from the Khaki color, and thus “Tropical Tan” will fill a place in your collection that Khaki cannot.

 

SLATE BLUE GRAINED CALF

The medium-shade colors of grain calf straps have become a staple for classic dress watches. These colors change their sheen depending on the color, and exude an air of elegance that is versatile for whatever the dress watch or the luxury fashion item. It is no wonder why the “Taupe” or “Camel” grain calf straps from our lineup have been a constant bestseller. This “Slate Blue” color is an exemplar of the blue medium-shade family. Its subtle grayish shade will go well with a wide range of watches, from Datejust to Calatrava – and to even diver watches.

 

HORWEEN HORSE FRONT (HORSE HIDE)

 Horween Leather Co. of Chicago is one of the best producers of tanned leather; they are also the sole producer of the Shell Cordovan leather, which is without doubt one of the best leathers in the world. 

We have duly made many products based on the Shell Cordovan in our lineup. This time, we have developed a strap from the Horween Horse Front leather. While the Shell Cordovan shows off the pinnacle of leather quality with its luxurious color and luster, the Horse Front focuses on a more rugged texture of leather, while being on par with Shell Cordovan in its soft and detailed texture.

The Horse Front leather boasts a natural grain texture that ages handsomely with age, which accordingly provides an exceptional match for vintage watches. It is also worth noting that these are made in limited quantities, due to the very small portion of useable leather obtainable from horse hide. We are offering this strap in the light brown “Dark Natural” color, and the darker brown “Graystone” color in a limited run.
