INTRODUCING THE 2026 NEW STRAP "THE MUSEUM"

"Small moments make history"

In 2010, vintage watch collecting—once a niche passion shared by a small circle of enthusiasts—began to emerge as a broader cultural phenomenon. In the aftermath of the global financial crisis, collectors and investors alike turned toward alternative stores of value such as fine art, classic cars, and vintage watches. At the same time, the cultural zeitgeist was shifting toward a renewed appreciation for heritage and retro aesthetics. Drawn into this new wave shaped by a handful of pioneers, I found myself naturally carried along by its momentum. At the center of that journey stood one defining element: the strap.

In the early days of building a vintage watch shop, strap making became the most stable foundation for survival. There was no grand vision or meticulously crafted business plan. I simply wanted to create something that perfectly complemented my own collection—something I could wear with complete satisfaction. The countless trials, errors, and failures of those early years ultimately became the foundation of the craftsmanship we uphold today.
At the time, the global market was led by legendary Italian houses and pioneering makers in the Netherlands, both of whom I deeply admired. Their instinctive balance of color and authentic vintage character became a constant source of inspiration. Above all, I was captivated by the understated elegance of “side stitching”—an incredibly restrained detail running along both edges of the strap. To me, it was the finishing touch that completed the artistry of a vintage timepiece.

2016: A Single Order That Broke the Silence

Then, in 2016, came a milestone that would remain unforgettable for the rest of my life.

At first, I assumed it was simply a personal order placed by someone affiliated with the museum. The true story, however, revealed itself a year later. As Omega headquarters launched its global celebration for the 60th anniversary of the Speedmaster, the brand unveiled a curated collection of archival timepieces tracing the history of the model.

And there, standing at the forefront of that legacy, was an unbelievable sight. Mounted on the legendary CK-2998 FOIS (First Omega in Space) was the very strap I had crafted—featured as the main visual presented to the world. In that moment, what began as a quiet obsession inside a small atelier in Korea had transcended borders and reached the discerning eyes of Switzerland’s finest, standing alongside Omega’s historic legacy.

2024: A Reunion That Broke the Silence

Seven years later, in 2024, Omega once again reaffirmed the presence of that very strap. With the announcement of the legendary CK-2998 FOIS reissue, the brand confirmed that the original form and spirit of the early archival strap remained untouched—preserved exactly as it was.

2026: Finally, "THE MUSEUM" Strap

Marking a new milestone, Nostime Creations now introduces the minimal-stitching strap “TYPE 1”—a design we intentionally kept hidden for more than a decade—reborn under a new name: “The Museum.”

This piece reflects the refinement Nostime Creations has accumulated over the past ten years while faithfully restoring the atmosphere, proportions, and emotional sensibility of the original archival model exactly as we envisioned it from the beginning.

PRODUCT DETAILS

At first glance, it may appear deceptively simple—a design that could exist anywhere. But every detail has been carefully considered so that the moment it touches your wrist, you feel a distinct sense of depth and refinement.
  • Silhouette: A subtle taper in thickness flows naturally from the lugs to the tip, creating exceptional comfort while giving the watch a balanced and dignified presence on the wrist.
  • Material: Only the finest premium leather hides are selected, meticulously sourced from historic tanneries in Italy and the United Kingdom.
  • Stitching: Finished with precision using premium French Lin Câblé thread—the benchmark of traditional saddle stitching—offering both durability and understated elegance.
  • Buckle: Fitted with Swiss-made Tropic buckles to further elevate the strap’s overall completeness and heritage character.
  • Color: Drawn from Nostime Creations’ exclusive color archive, each tone has been selected through countless blending trials to pair harmoniously with vintage timepieces.

Every milestone we have achieved has only been possible because of the collectors who have supported and shared the philosophy of Nostime Creations over the past decade. Without forgetting the legacy of the past, we remain focused on the craftsmanship of the present as we quietly continue paving the path toward the future.
